A foehn current from southwest to southeast. This means that the #temperatures remain largely above average. Overnight the wind increased up to 80 km / h in the mountains and up to 60 km / h in the eastern flatlands. Extensive #fog and high fog fields lie over the lowlands and clouds keep coming over them.
It will loosen up temporarily in the #Alps and in the northern Alpine foothills, but it is only enough for individual hours of sunshine. It can rain a little here and there, for example in the Waldviertel or in and around East Tyrol. But mostly it stays dry. The temperatures rise to minus 2 to plus 11 degrees depending on the fog, sun, altitude and hair dryer. It remains #frosty in some valleys in East Tyrol and Upper #Carinthia. At an altitude of 2000m it is plus 3 to plus 10 degrees.
